Goddess Mindset – Tap Into Yours
by Teresa Salhi
When working with my female clients on how to tap into their inner confidence, feminine power or their biggest desires, one of the first things we work on is mindset. Their Goddess Mindset.
Truth is, it isn't a lack of skill, capability or experience that holds most of these awesome gals back, it's their emotional mindset – this is what I refer to as the Goddess Mindset.
So what is a Goddess Mindset?
So how do you develop this Goddess Mindset?
1. Create a Goddess-like Environment.
Do you have too much 'stuff' piling up in corners, closets and on counter tops? The feminine energy is about flow. Clutter stops the flow. Your energy is of beauty and creativity too. What is the beauty around you that gives you pleasure and inspires you to feel good now?
2. Talk Like a Goddess
Try this simple, empowering process to uncover some of the self-sabotaging messages you're likely not even noticing.
For one day this week, have a notebook on your desk and just notice what goes on in your head throughout the day. Write those down with judgments, just observations – like a journalist. At the end of the day, read over the journal notes. What are the dis-empowering thoughts or beliefs that come up again and again? (Examples: "I can't afford it," "I am too fat, too skinny, too old or too young to have, do or be that" and any version of "not enough.")
Also, you will only attract new clients (or a new job) – and get paid what you are worth – when you do the work by valuing what you have now. And with an attitude of gratitude, darling.
…..when you value yourself first, others will follow. It's a beautiful thing!
P.S. Personal support is essential for up-leveling your self-beliefs, confidence, success results, relationship harmony, life transitions or spiritual practices to keep you focused on where you really want to go by being who you really want to be. Yes, it can be soooo awesome!

This is such a beautiful article. I love it especially when you say that to create a goddes mindset, you have to authentically-raise the bar in key areas of your life.
Tandy Elisala says
You know I love this article! Having a goddess mindset is key to connect with our divine feminine. Love it!
Sonya Maachou says
Love this, i am definitely a mindset goddess. I get up at 5.30am Monday through Friday to work on my mindset and work out before i start my day. It works wonderfully.

I love this Teresa! Having a modern day concept of Goddesses is so important. Shifting self-talk from introjects from the past to embracing your Goddess Self is critical to emotional and mental health! I work with Goddesses often and named my business after the Goddess Vesta. She supports me all the time!
Joyce Hansen says
I think it’s time all women elevated themselves to being a goddess. We’ve let others define us and talked ourselves into being less than. And, why not a Prosperity Goddess as well. I’m joining the tribe.
Teresa Salhi says
Oh yes Joyce, why not indeed!!
Reba Linker says
I love how you connect the goddess mindset with a sense of worth. I think that is spot on!
Teresa Salhi says
It is our mindset that links to everything we believe about ourselves…for sure.
Cathy Brown Sykora says
“Oftentimes, what we desire does not have any ‘room’ to show up because our life and environment is full of clutter.” Thank you for bringing this into awareness. Creativity is best channeled when there is an ebb and flow of our material possessions, and hoarding is not the way! Just as our self talk defines our mindset, the environment we keep should be free of the negative chatter that only inhibits and serves no purpose. This allows us to be prosperous. I loved reading this! Shared on Twitter.
Teresa Salhi says
Oh so true Cathy. Whether it be ideas, a new relationship, money – it can find it’s way too you much easier when the path is physically and mentally clutter free.
Tamuria says
Love this, Teresa. I always refer to my granddaughters as the Goddesses and I think it has a lot to do with wanting them to celebrate their inner Goddess and treat themselves kindly. We get so used to our negative self talk, we hardly even realise it’s happening. Such a great idea to write down the negative thoughts so we can change our language.

I hope you will share that exercise too and thank you for commenting what you got from this….
Beverley Golden says
My mother always treated me like I was a princess, so that energy is quite familiar to me, although being put on a pedestal, isn’t. 🙂 There is so much talk now about being a Goddess and owning our Goddess energy, and I thank you, Teresa, for offering some tips on how to prompt and support our inner Goddess to emerge. It isn’t easy to shift our ‘unconscious’ perspectives, so catching and writing down the times we find ourselves running the old mind treadmill, could be very helpful!
Teresa Salhi says
Yes, it is very helpful Beverley. When we know, we can work toward change.
Susan Mary Malone says
This is great, Teresa! I’ll never forget the first time spirit whispered in my ear, “You are a goddess.” I literally cringed! It took me a long, long time to work through the whys of my unworthiness, but has it just made all the difference! Love the tip of writing down those negative thoughts for the day. That’s truly an enlightening exercise.
Teresa Salhi says
Thank you Susan, I hope you benefit immensely from the exercise.
Tricia Dycka says
This was a great article. I know for myself that clearing clutter is a space opener for me. I have done it several times in my office and home. You are right my office needs a makeover. Bring more the goddess into it.
Teresa Salhi says
Ah, wonderful! Thanks for being here Tricia!
Marquita Herald says
Great tips! As an “extreme” introvert your point about clearing clutter hits home for me – I value my quiet time, my work space is clutter free, and I work at keeping my mind the same way by not hanging on to harmful emotions and grudges. The money thing is an area I need to work on. For reasons I won’t go into here I’ve always rebelled against the pursuit of money and I’m working on overcoming that at the moment.
Teresa Salhi says
Wonderful Marquita, thank you for sharing your reflection and positive words. We are in this together – one goddess to another! 🙂
Teresa Salhi says
I think many women are in the same boat Marquita, that is why so many of understand and support one another. Onward and upward Goddess!

Its like you learn my thoughts! You seem to understand so much approximately this, such as you wrote the ebook in it or something. I think that you just can do with a few % to force the message home a little bit, however other than that, this is wonderful blog. An excellent read. I will definitely be back.
