Welcome to our Virtual Women’s Moon Meditation Circle
Often, I learn something new about myself simply by opening my ears – and mindfully listening – to the stories of other women either friends, clients or random meetings.
And suddenly, things in my life, thoughts about my life, resonate within the stories of others. It becomes less about me, more about us. We become unified through common themes and experiences.
We connect, even in the silence of meditation. Suddenly, we are not alone. Even when it felt so alone before.
Now, If you’re anything like me, you want someone to ask you – how are you, REALLY? And be able to give them the honest truth without them turning on their heels and quickly finding something – anything – else to do.
You want to be able to talk about the latest life discovery, personal transformations and even a mindfulness practice you’ve adopted and not be looked at like you have three horns sprouting from your skull.
You may even want to learn or practice mindfulness with others who want to practice more mindfulness.
You may want to deepen your connection to yourself and your intuition and your innate creative wholeness because you know they’re the necessary factors that not only feeds your soul but can help heal this fractured world.
You crave a supportive community in which to develop and enhance your skills and cheerlead your efforts – as you do them.
In short, you’re looking for your people. Yes? At the very least a group you can sit and be safe to meditation and grow alongside.
So, that’s what I want too and would like you to join me and a group of sisters to explore our inner and outer transformation.
This is a new circle, a new initiative, that has evolved from other women’s gatherings I have hosted, as well as, years of my own personal growth and being a mentor for women doing their own.
The basic format of the Women’s Moon Meditation Circle includes:
- Guided meditation to ground the group
- Time to write and reflect, in silence, on a provocative theme
- Structured time to share (only if you wish) and actively listen (valuable for all) during the circle ceremony
- Guided closing meditation
Let’s get back to basics, to boost our social health, to offset the rise in loneliness and have some fun. Where you drop into the moment. Where you listen in the moment. Where true resonance happens. There is special magic in this connection – magic that manifests in the circle as we meditate, share and listen.
Think of the Women’s Moon Meditation Circle akin to a dinner party or book club, but with meditation and mindfulness as our anchors, with gentle music, poetry and laughter sprinkled in. It’s important to note that this is not a substitute for therapy. Rather, it’s a welcoming space to come curious, be in community and realize … we are never alone.
